Sara Martínez 

Sara Martínez is a young feminist and sex positive activist based in Mexico City, Mexico. She is currently Coordinator of the Adolescents, Autonomy and Sexuality Program at Balance A.C and a member of RESURJ.  

She graduated from the International Relations and Political Science degrees at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Since her school years, she has been part of various young feminist collectives. Now, she does advocacy at the national, regional and international level, promoting access to sexual and reproductive rights, comprehensive sexual education, youth participation and the recognition of autonomy for adolescents. She also works directly with adolescents, so they can acquire tools to live their sexualities through pleasure. 

What brings me joy: having time to ground myself, yoga, hiking, baking, the smell of rain, having deep chats with a warm cup of coffee, and my dogs.
