Sachini is the Executive Coordinator of RESURJ. She is a queer feminist from Sri Lanka who thinks, researches, writes, makes and teaches at the intersections of technology, pop culture, sexual and reproductive justice, and pleasure. She is also a co-creator of Delete Nothing, a trilingual platform to systematically document online gender-based violence in Sri Lanka and help survivors find support. Sachini has an MA in Digital Culture and Society from King’s College London and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Colombo, and was a 2019/2020 Chevening scholar. She has worked in communications and advocacy with local, regional and global feminist and women’s rights formations for the last 14 years. Sachini is currently the Co-Chair of the steering group of the Alliance for Feminist Movements, on behalf of RESURJ. She has also served in advisory capacity for the Nebula Fund, Women’s Fund Asia and W7.
