Anita Nayar

Anita Nayar is a feminist activist and scholar presently engaged in research on the social and ecological consequences of the commercialization of indigenous medicine in India. For the past 15 years she has worked with women’s movements, governments and UN agencies to bring a gender perspective on environmental, social and economic issues to bear on inter-governmental negotiations and agreements, as well as national and local policies.
