Africa Conference on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ACSHR)

Four RESURJ members were at the 10th Africa Conference on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ACSHR) which took place in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The 3-dayconference starting from June 29 to July 1 2022, with over 40 sessions cutting across themes on bodily autonomy, feminist movements, gender transformative change, accountability and leadership, intergenerational dialogue and well being.

Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) 2021

In an effort to continue exploring the interlinkages between digital justice, bodily autonomy and the limitations of using the criminalization as a response to online GBV, we convened a few feminist digital rights activists for a transnational conversation on how access, expression and violence on the internet are experienced by women and queer and trans people in their countries. This event was organized virtually at the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) which was held from 27th- 30th September.

I had the privilege of attending the Africa Review Conference on Beijing +25 in Addis Ababa and as a first time attendee of a platform review process it did feel like a big privilege.It felt like a privilege because without the support of feminist spaces like RESURJ I would never have had the opportunity to engage in these spaces.
