Marisol Ruiz

Marisol is the Communications Officer at RESURJ. She has been a human rights defender for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for the past 7 years, she firmly believes that communications are a powerful tool for behavioral and societal change. She previously worked as the Interim Coordinator of the Women Human Rights Defenders International Coalition. Prior to that, she was the Communications and Campaigns Coordinator for the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights where she developed multiple campaigns related to sexual and reproductive justice as well as coordinated efforts for the September 28 global campaining mobilizations on access to safe and legal abortion.
