GHOSHA

Ghosha (meaning loud, noisy, outspoken), a feminist initiative in Sri Lanka that aims to support, promote and create Sri Lankan women’s voices on the internet and challenge the structural barriers that prevent us from using the internet in free, rights-based, affirmative and pleasurable ways.

Since 2017, Ghosha has formally collaborated with Groundviews, Hashtag Generation, RESURJ, Counterpart International, The Grassrooted Trust, Jayanthi Kuru-Utumpala, Zainab Ibrahim, and Minoli Wijetunga for research, capacity strengthening, advocacy and knowledge building activities. Some of these are ongoing collaborations.
