RESURJ is a global alliance of feminists under 40 years of age, working for Sexual and Reproductive Justice through national, regional and international advocacy and movement building strategies in countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.
We envision a world where every person’s human rights are affirmed and upheld. A world guided by equality and equity, where women, girls, adolescents and young people in all their diversity are empowered. We believe that in order to achieve gender, economic, social, and environmental justice, women and young people must have the ability to live with dignity and autonomy through the different stages of their lives.
RESURJ Members are engaged in different movements and constituencies (youth, human rights, HIV, feminist, development, sexual diversity, academia) at the country level and are committed to moving the RESURJ by 2015 Agenda forward. Members represent RESURJ in their individual capacity but have institutional support and the responsibility to integrate their experiences and knowledge into their national work.
Recruitment is based on experience, knowledge and commitment to achieve sexual and reproductive justice, as well as regional diversity.
We could not do what we do without the dedication and backing of our supporters. With special thanks to:
